This game is the new edition by Dusserre of one of the first tarot games known as "tarots nouveaux" (new tarots) in 1890. The original game is kept at the French National Library in Paris. The back of the cards is illustrated by an extract of the canvas "Le bassin de Nymphéas, harmonie verte" (The pond of water lilies, green harmony) painted in 1899 by famous French artist Claude Monet (1840 - 1926), today on permanent display at the Orsay Museum in Paris.
